The LOCA Conference was opened on February 5th by Carsten Szameitat, Region Director DACH of the Location Based Marketing Association, whose keynote focused on the subject "Recommended Web". His thesis: The smartphone brings the web to any location. Thus, the context of usage turns into the main point, and the knowledge of the location is essential. In the subsequent panel-round, visitors got a taste of the topics they could expect in the next two days. Some impressions from the two-day event in Munich.

Good start for the conference in Munich. I think that interest in exchange and networks on the subject is very large and the format should be continued.
